Instructions for the Gratitude Exercise
- Find a cozy spot and settle into a relaxed sitting position.
- Posture: Ensure your back is straight and your shoulders are relaxed. Gently place your hands on your thighs or in your lap.
- Close your Eyes: Gently close your eyes.
- Reflect on Gratitude: Think of three things you are grateful for. Feel the gratitude in your heart. (45 to 60 seconds)
- Visualize Gratitude: Imagine your gratitude spreading like a warm light in your heart. (45 to 60 seconds)
- Silence and Presence: Remain in silence and savor the feeling of gratitude. (45 seconds)
Conclude the exercise by slowly opening your eyes and carrying gratitude into your day.
